Abu Dhabi, March 26 (NA) – The fall of debris from a ballistic missile that was intercepted by air defense systems in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), caused the death of two people and left three others injured, authorities reported on Thursday. The Abu Dhabi press office confirmed that the incident occurred on Sweihan Street (in the city center) and damaged several vehicles, and stated that investigations are being carried out whose details will be made public “in due time”. According to the Argentine News Agency, residents across the UAE, including those in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, received mobile alerts on Thursday morning. These warned of a missile threat and urged people to take shelter while air defense systems were active.
